Hi, you must apply for a "spousal visa" provided you can present proofs of relationship such as your marriage certificate authenticated by NSO, postal letters and others and you must meet many times in person, maybe at 2 or 3 times. I also got married last year August 2009 but I'm still here in Philippines and will be applying for spousal visa next month You can also apply for a tourist visa but you cannot extend your visa, spousal visa has more advantage.

Hi, how are you? Is your husband an Irish citizen? In case he is, then you apply for spouse visa.
Good luck,
HG
